RCA Work-in-progress show

Good show seen yesterday at the again crowded private view. Goldsmith-Metalwork-Jewellery department had a cacophonous, fresh, and festive atmosphere and some very nice work. You can try a gun that surprisingly makes a piece of jewellery! No kidding!

Heinrich Kuhn, at l'Orangerie Paris

Beautiful photographs from 1910 to see at the Musee de l'Orangerie in Paris, until January the 24th 2011. Old techniques giving a very textural aspect to make us doubt if it is a drawing or a photograph? ... "in the search for the perfect photography..."

La Ferme du buisson, by Paris

Very charming building, in Marne la Vallee near Paris, with art exhibitions, cinema, music, events, library and also a restaurant!
*I recommend to go for an event and spend the whole evening there. I was there on a very quiet Sunday, a pity...

Very refreshing exhibition by the mexican Ortega for contemporary art. Very interesting the work produced from newspaper articles and the display of the pieces is all very evocative and inspiring. To see!

Japanese Fashion at the Barbican!

Go and see the great exhibition "Future Beauty" about 30 years of Japanese Fashion, on until the February 6th. Loved it all! The fabric-paper that structure the whole space is amazing, and it's worth watching the 3 biographical videos about Issey Miyake, Rei Kawakubo and Yohji Yamamoto!
